To those concerned about Europe. They have already destroyed themselves with the Euro, and the vast amounts of Muslims that they have let into each country. All they seem to want to do now is start WWIII, and whine about needing more money to give to Ukraine. They are falling, no matter what we do here. Yes, things are happening fast , but we need to concern ourselves with digging out of our own mess. I do not think Europe can be propped up at this point.
DOGE's decision to do the job as an external intervener is grossly misguided. They should've partnered up with the OIGs of each Department and worked with them. DOGE will be gone at a certain point in time. The OIGs will remain. Auditing/training the in-house auditors would've created a longer term result.
A couple of things, mostly what ifs on my mind lately. There's a possible goal which is to eliminate parties altogether. Run it like a business. I highly doubt that say, a position of CEO one would want to look at orange team and green team. Two teams vying can produce all kinds of crap including promises made to each other - "orange team gets it, we'll throw you some scraps or hire your guys." Easier to just have the three branches, the President, and hire whoever has the strongest merits for the job. A theory, I don't know if they're thinking that or if it will work.
I think DOGE is in housecleaning discovery phase. Once that's complete then they have a very good idea what to look for in the future. They will know the how. Where it goes. A lot of that is pulling out of agreements with Europe but doing so gradually so Europe doesn't crash too hard. It's possible there are systems that have already been mapped that would go a long way to mitigating global scale crime. There will always be crime, but it will return to smaller and more localised.
Why are the people going to be concerned with the fraud, corruption and waste after more than 50 years of it? Suddenly government is going to get religion? Citizens will start caring? The DC Swamp is going to do an about face? Look at the resistance already and Trump has barely made a dent.
Come 2029, a new parasitical blubber-head is going to be running the show and it will be back to more and more corruption than you can ever imagine. Who is going to continue to stop it? The leftists ? The RINOs? The retardicans? There is NO ONE.
DOGE will be blown up, all executive orders will be burned and the debt is going to explode to over $70 trillion by the mid 2030s when the whole shebang implodes. To change anything, you need long term persistence as in a few decades. Not gonna happen in your lifetime.
What is happening has never happened before at this speed and this scale. I believe there have been audits here and there, but not this comprehensive. We are in a time of novelty. As for the rest of what you say, yes, that is very much human nature. As much as it is human nature to adjust to new systems. To happen at this scale indicates strongly that there has to be a replacement system containing aspects of earlier - three branches of government, return to constitutional law and one radical possibility: elimination of third party oversight, that being the central banks. The goal is mitigation of global scale crime.
