I don't pay attention to brand-creators or TV stars at all, so every part of this issue is new to me.

However, based on what this op-ed piece shares, Rucker's got valid points. If the Gaines' and any other Christian-based person/business aligns with demonic/immoral activities then questions SHOULD be raised and actions SHOULD be expected because the hypocrisy is obvious and very anti-Christian.

Personally, I boycotted Target years ago when they began their LGBT nonsense. I also boycott Walmart, Starbucks, Dicks, and MANY other corporations -- they don't deserve my business.

Set Chip and Joanna Gaines aside for a moment. Christians can deal with Target without a celebrity spokesperson. It seems though, a cheap price buys a lot of compromise. Pastors who should be doing the leading, unfortunately have been silent on a variety of social issues from abortion, education, sexuality, etc., and it manifests in widespread inaction, hopeless hand wringing, unwillingness to sacrifice, and a belief that the rapture will occur before the USS America sinks. The beer customers seem to be outdoing the church in clout.
