I appreciate your article and your sincerity. I’ve always agreed with your perspective, but was perplexed in regards to Barnette based on Greg Kelly’s show last week. I’m glad he could converse with you and saddened others haven’t. Grenell always has had my appreciation and respect—until the recent hostility towards you about your choice for PA. I was shocked by his rudeness. Dr Oz has always come across as a chameleon and I don’t trust him, haven’t for decades. His having Trump’s endorsement doesn’t sway me. I think Trump is hedging towards Barnette after his recent favorable comment about her, but for some reason thinks Oz is more winnable. I don’t think he is. Stand by your convictions JD—it’s one reason why we follow you for truth and honest assessments. Your comment in regards to RINOs is true, it’s better than a Dem who will always vote with the radical left.

What Conservatives must remember is they are not Lemmings and Donald Trump should not be thought of as the Pied Piper. Conservatives have traditionally been able to enumerate and verbalize just why they are conservatives. Unfortunately, too many today can only say that they follow Donald Trump. If conservatives blindly show allegiance to one politician, regardless of how great he or she is or was while in office, they run the risk of not only losing their right to think for themselves, they will become the Kool-Aide drinkers and mindlessly believe everything a popular king-maker says. I don't want Conservatives or Republicans or those that recognize the evils that have befallen the Democrats to become like Israel in 1 Samual 8-10 and turn their backs on God and demand a King. Donald Trump is not a King nor should he be allowed to be a King Maker. A mistake has been made in endorsing Dr. Oz. Donald Trump proved to America that he is a Republican, a conservative, pro-life, pro-law, pro-proper immigration, pro-2nd Amendment, pro-fiscal conservative, pro-civil rights for all, a in favor of returning decision making and states rights to the states. Dr. Oz has not exhibited those characteristics in his public life and that's all we can base our decisions on. Conservatives cannot and should not just comments Dr. Oz may have made to the former President.

Conservatives must not be controlled by fear, they must listen to all sides of an issue so they can intelligently refute that which is wrong. They cannot refute that which they do not hear with their own ears. Conservatives must be informed to make their own decisions. They must not be swayed by personalities, promises, predilections, prophets - self-appointed or otherwise. Everything that is said must be viewed in the light of the truth. Americans and Conservatives are not stupid, they know the truth. It is unwavering, it is backed by unchanging facts, and the truth is not changes with time. People of the truth are not driven by the tides of popularity, fear, anger, adulation, or recrimination. People of the truth are willing to be disliked for holding up the truth. They will not compromise the truth by accepting or disseminating self-truths. What this country needs to to is be willing to disagree without being disagreeable. What this country needs are more "statesmen" who are willing to do right. Micah 6:8 illustrates this and lays out succinctly how we should live: "He has told you, mankind, what is good. What does the Lord require from you, except to carry out justice and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."

I do not want a King, not do I want a King-maker. I do not want someone a King-maker has chosen. I want to make my own decisions. I trust the people of the U.S. to do right. I do not trust politicians to do right. Regardless of whom that politician may be. Selah.
