The problem with going to City Council Meetings, etc. is that a lot are Liberals. My Mayor managed to help fund campaigns for his Liberal friends. So, now there is only 1 Conservative Commissioner (Rhino) and the rest Liberals. Believe it or not, some people who have big money where I live vote for the Democrats.
Another problem is, our City overlaps with a Liberal County and we get stuck with a Leftist Mayor.
