It's already like that. I worked with a woman that was openly racist towards whites, while telling all other black employees that all the white employees were racist. ALL the bosses were scared to death of her. She got away with murder. Harrassed no less than 3 white coworkers to quit. One would cry daily at work, due to the harrassment. She's still there.
Government hires the most incompetent of any color. Look at the FUBAR mess we are in because they do. We need a competency test for employees and politicians. My hub spent nearly 40 years working and teaching electronics. 20 yrs USN as Avionics at sea, teaching on shore. Turns around gets his teacher's degree with a double math major, and taught Jr Tech College for 20 years, retiring as Dept Chair. He could wire to NY BUILDING CODE when he graduated HS before that. Just fixed the kitchen ceiling light. a $63 buck job, at 82, Still teaches the math part of Ham Extra Classes on Zoom.
It seems that the crux of the case is that it was proven that other workers were late as often or more often than Ms Europe, and they were not disciplined. I'm certainly not justifying the award, but it serves no one to be judging the situation while simultaneously being ignorant of the details of the story. That's what we are fighting for, isn't it? What company in their right mind is going to employ a person who they cannot fire without financial penalty in the event that person fails to honour the contract of employment? None. I was fired from a job of 5 years where I was never late, and worked all OT, for being with my baby at the hospital, had a dr excused absence, I'm white. Those young things who missed a lot of work were Sleeping with their male supervisors. I refused to.
To combat this stupidity, employers need to require employees to sign a NDA waiver against lawsuit as part of the hiring process. The courts are corrupt, and every jury is bias. They will sign if they want the job.
