I have been saying exactly that, too. Why oh why have those who are in a position to effectually drive real workable change in voting laws... not done so? In all this time! I (currently) live in WA where the only allowed ballot system is mail-in. Been this way for years. When i asked our Secretary of State about the accuracy of our voter rolls, i got only a lower manager's "assurances" that WA rolls were cleanest in the nation. That was it. An email of assurances. "Trust me".
It pisses me off no end that we have no real transparency or other serious solutions to this. We know that the entire system of voting can and MUST be clearly locked down better than Fort Knox. We are an advanced and innovative country and CAN devise a way. Instead of billions misspent on windmills, illegal aliens, and tuition "forgiveness", etc., we could surely finance a way to block any attempts to cheat. And anyone ever found cheating should go to jail for a verrry long time.
I don't mind if people are too pissed or resigned to not vote, however, I do mind if they are not doing things behind the scenes to help save our Republic, like calling or emailing their reps & congress, helping people who are being wrongfully prosecuted, like the J6 prisoners, or other LEO's that are losing everything, or going after the bad DA's, AG's, and judges that are corrupt, or helping Greg Phillips, Catherine Englebrecht, and Seth Kashel or even the pillow guy, Mike Lindell or anyone else clean up the voter roles, and the voting process, or helping those whom were harmed by the bioweapon vax, and going after the pHarma med industrial complex, or planting local gardens, or something!
