It has devolved into a leftist cesspool by its continual election cheating and dominance of leftist politics. A couple times I wrote to Governor Inslee about an energy issue. He responded with unscientific, leftist lies,and propaganda. It was obvious so I stopped writing. If one listens to the guy speak, it becomes quite obvious that he is not the sharpest pencil on the desk. I remember when Sam Smith was on the Seattle City Council and when Ruby Chow was on the Seattle City Council. Mr. Smith did a reasonable job for his community although it also was obvious that he was not very sharp. Ms. Chow better represented Chinatown but she dealt with English being her second language. Seattle degenerated with high crime and bums using downtown sidewalks as their toilets. Many times I saw urination and defecation on downtown sidewalks when i rode the bus from Bothell to pill hill for cancer treatment. The City did nothing about the bums aggressively panhandling to the level that one became for safety. Former Mayor Jenny Durkins possibly did the most damage to the City with her encouragement of of outlaw behavior and her "summer of love" response to the criminal takeover of a portion of Capitol Hill near Seattle Community College. Dumb Durkins was replaced by a former Garfield and University of Washington football star who promised to improve downtown streets. It was yet another radical, leftist lie. Downtown Seattle is worse than ever before. I remember seeing City Vehicles used by City employees bring support to street bums living in tents throughout the City. Seattle was one of the first large cities to GIVE hard drugs to bums on the street. The Democrat politicians grotesquely ruined a once very nice Seattle. What is worse is that the voters of Seattle continue to vote and support those who destroyed that City. King County's Election Department allowed street bums to spend nights in the Admin Building and then use that King County address as their voter registration address such that several hundred voters registered with that ONE address as their residence. Long time radio commentator and Republican, Mr. Wilbur, finally gave up after many years on-air and abandoned ship for Texas. Finally, in January of 2022, we did too. I think you are reading too much into it. Let's be clear, there is an attack on faith everywhere, across all faiths. Christianity as espoused now, has no exclusive rights on being attacked. The bigger problem, I believe is the lack of Christian people knowing their book. If they knew their book they would know that the only division between faiths is man created, fanatic created.
