It's easy to see war as simply a mechanism of guns and missiles. But the foundation of nearly all wars is economic, and what we're facing today is no different. It's a war we very well may lose.

Most of the populations of the world are ignorant of that fact. Mavericks will find a way around it and do well. Sheep will bleet and follow the herd. And too many will fall through the cracks. Some states are starting gold depositories, TX being one of them and a few others, TN being another. People are going back to cash and coins, smaller bills. Connecting w local farmers to grow them food by paying in advance in cash. Bartering think outside the box. People lived that way long before fiat money.
It's the difference between value and currency. Today, the dollar is currency but precious metals have value. Tomorrow, CBDCs will be currency but precious metals will still have value.

Re gold: it is easy to buy, but how do I sell it or use it to buy food, etc.?

But with a digital currency coming soon, how can we use gold or silver coins?
