Putin is no different that Adolph Hitler and appeasement is not going to satisfy him by letting him take Ukraine, any more than it stopped Hitler after we let him "annex" Czechoslovakia and Sudetenland end his territorial ambitions. Also if you follow Ukrainian history is was as corrupt as Russia until the Maidan Revolution when Volodymyr Zelinskyy was elected President. He vowed to end corruption and before the war had presented 136 indictments on corrupt oligarchs and ministers. He is trying to end the totally corrupt judiciary and he had requested help from Austria. He fired and replaced two key officials of his own several months ago and I will bet it involved corruption. The Military Industrial Complex needs to be regulated tightly as it is but they are the only reason that we have been able to keep the peace. "PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH". Now the Ukrainian Armed Forces are killing the Russians and have taken back massive amounts of territory. If we would give them longer range HIMARS and cruise missiles that could take out the Kerch Strait Bridge to Russia, the war would end a lot sooner as the Russians could not supply Crimea. Nobody likes war but it has to be stopped as soon as possible if it breaks out. Also, Ukraine is a huge supplier of many resources that the world needs and has the ability to redevelop their own arms industry. By the way, it was American Democrat politicians that were a MAJOR part of Ukraine's past corruption.
So this is a democracy. I always wondered what "democracy" meant. Now I know.

We were told that the Red Chinese Army was so large they could start marching into the sea in columns of soldiers that were 400 persons wide, and never run out of soldiers. We were never told just why they might undertake that enormous task, but they could. And they wanted to destroy us! Now, we have them building parts for our weapons paid for by our overtaxed citizens. And while that was breaking the bank (and backs) of taxpayers, it had a limited effect on the acquisition of wealth for the elites--just not enough "players." So, now we funnel vast sums of American treasure on a false war that will never be won. Much more efficient for larger numbers of elites. It amazes me how dedicated to government led impoverished defeat we now seem to be.
