It's absolutely vital, as conservatives engage with the left on issues such as the incorporation into K-12 curricula of, "critical race theory", and, "critical gender theory", that we have the courage of our convictions. This is the most important strength that Governor DeSantis brings to the fight. Also key to his success are his command of the facts and his ability to construct and present solid arguments for his positions. I've not agreed with all of his decisions. For example, I believe he should have made early COVID treatment regimens a focus of the FL pandemic response. However, DeSantis's willingness, to go toe-to-toe with the morally and intellectually bankrupt minions of the left on the defining issues of our time, is exactly what we need in our conservative leaders.

DON'T say "gay" - that is, unless your referring to someone like my youngest son, who, I declare was born smiling!

The point being, as Christians, we need to stop using the non-Christians' watered-down, politically correct terms such as "abortion" and "gay." It's infanticide and sodomy. There is no power in the former terms against evil and our first mistake is in acquiescing to the ungodly's terminology.

For anyone easily offended - kindly skip this reply. It is written with no malice and or discrimination. It is also strictly a personal opinion:

The gay community is simply exploiting and capitalizing on what the black community has already accomplished. I don't mean to stereotype but facts don't lie. Back in the 70's everyone had a gay male friend who was adored by all. Why? Because they had no inhibition's being themselves, no matter how severe the scorn and laughter sneers, mockery, derision. They were some of the most honest, sincere and genuine people you ever came across and the reason being is they were truthful to themselves so of course they were honest with everyone else.

THEN along came AIDS and everything changed. Everyone rallied on their behalf. Elizabeth Taylor, Liza Minnelli and the list goes on and on and on and the gates of hell were thrown wide open.

BEING GAY WAS NOW CHIC! The gay male community today has become the most narcissistic, self absorbed, egotistical, shallow and superficial alliance in all of society and this is coming from the mouth of gay men themselves. Open the Sunday NYT and look at the real estate section and the number of properties and or stories about gay men's homes.

In 2004 there was a huge rally in San Francisco were hundreds of gay couple got married even though it was still illegal. Then in 2008 when it did finally become legal they went back and asked all the couples if they would do it again, now that the law was passed - only to find out the vast majority of couples were no longer together. So what does that tell you? Numerous articles have been written about destroying the sanctity of marriage and making a mockery of it and this certainly solidified it.

If the gay community is no different than the rest of society - as they continually insist - and now also receive the exact same benefits and more (suing for discrimination is the new race card) as everyone else - then why the need for separate titles? It used to be the gay community. They weren't happy with that and so it became the gay and lesbian community. But isn't a lesbian already gay? Then it became homosexual and lesbian and now it's GLBTQJCLDBNGWALMNG!

Because, like the black community they certainly don't want equal rights - they want more as is now proven with the outrage of this bill. It's not enough to be gay they need to force it down everyone's throats! Indoctrinate them - gee I wonder where they learned that from?

It's the exact same thing with critical race. It's all about the need to stand out and be different which neither community will ever surrender. People do not commit suicide because they are "gay" they commit suicide because they are ashamed to be associated with these communities and what they represent and now want to teach (inflict).

Who you prefer affection from is as irrelevant as the condiment you put on your hot dog and they've simply exploited it for all it's worth. If you're not part of their OUT LOUD and PROUD community - then you're a disgrace.

So 4th grade kids are fair game to be sexualized. Not a win as many fake conservatives want to paint it as.

I'm currently a "Hoosier" and I was extremely disappointed with Mike Pence's caving to big business and the Left with the RFRA bill. Then there was his role in the 2020 election and I'm still unsure what to think about that. I just know he will never have my support.

I despised Pence on sight. He looks like an asshole. I know that sounds dumb, but I've learned, in 70+ years on earth, to trust my instinctive reaction to a politician's appearance. It's said that politics is show biz for ugly people. That is true to an extent, but I would add that politics is showbiz for untalented and evil people as well.

My first reaction to Pence turned out to be accurate. He has turned out to be someone who consistently behaves like the asshole his appearance signals that he is. Early on in his tenure as VP, when he was attacked by the cast of "Hamilton", most of the Trumpeteers I know were rushing to his defense while I just asked WTF was he doing attending that play anyway?
