I'm not saying I buy into the theory that Will Smith slapping Chris Rock was a staged event, but if it was, most who are floating the idea are getting the motivation all wrong.
We haven't watched the oscars for a decade or more, but as soon as I saw that on the local "news" I said "staged!" My family has worked in and around film long enough to recognize "scripted." And you are right: it is all to deflect from the vaxxxx injuries and Hunter's laptop. They know young Americans are easily diverted from the truth. #justsayin
Don't watch the Oscars, but I did watch the clip since everyone is making a big hullabaloo about it. I find it strange that Will Smith was laughing through the entire joke, even though JPS made a face. Maybe that's what invoked his slap. Or maybe it was really staged. Who knows? Personally, I could careless about the Smiths. And Chris Rock is a comedian. So, no big deal.
Sixty-five years ago, I ran with blacks because it was the thing to do. As teenagers, they had a process called "Signifying." It was staged dirty looks or aggressive behavior for the sole purpose of attracting attention. We would be at the local youth dance in a Midwestern Small Town where some mixing of races was barely tolerated, and a scuffle would break out on the floor between two or three guys that I knew were friends. "Let's take this outside, MF!" wherein a small group would head up a dark alley and stage a fight, sometimes flashing knives. Lots of sound and fury signifying nothing, only to be repeated the next Friday night.
Will and Chris staged this because they knew they could. Their reasons will remain open to speculation.
I guess I'm a cave dweller. I had no idea it happened at all and now I'm uncurious enough not to look at any more about it.
Nothing wrong with that. I wish I could unsee it.
You’re right. Who cares. ☮️
Did Zelensky show like Sean idiot Penn demanded?
If he didn’t. I want video of Penn melting his statue and himself into a blob.
1 less Globalist sycophant, along with Bono , Springsteen…..
I didn't watch so I can't say for sure but I imagine if he spoke I would have heard about it somewhere.
Makes sense.
I’d rather yank out a tooth w pliers, than watch the insufferable pontificate

An old axion prevails: Any publicity for Hollywood is good publicity. Heaven only knows Hollywood needs publicity today.
I bet Chris Rock fucked his hoe wife. Lol!

Since the DRAMA was designed to stir conversation about failing Hollywood Awards shows…I wish you’d just IGNORE IT!
