I've read The Book. I know how it ends. It's going to be tough on everyone, but if we are loyal to Jesus Christ (and that loyalty will be tested) our future is secure. For we fight not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers and evils. Those evils are now coming out from hiding. They have greater confidence because they can see that their legions are growing. We must put on the whole armor of God. God's people will prevail.

I received a cold bolt of fear from my stomach to the base of my spine when I saw the news this morning. I couldn't believe it. I don't know why I didn't expect it given I was a prepper before it was cool and have been predicting civil war for the last ten years. However, the reality is always different than the prediction of nebulous future events. Civil wars are *always* the most brutal, violent and destructive of all wars because neither side will ever admit to being wrong, feels entitled to be the only heirs of the land and we're always the most vicious when defending our homes and families.
