Big Tech knew how to get to conservative news outlets. They delivered great fortunes early on, and then threatened many who were "hooked" with cancelation if they weren't willing to self-censor.
I've said this many times before, but it doesn't seem to resonate.
Advertising destroys everything it touches. Everything.
Ad buyers now control every bit of information on the internet, with the possible (POSSIBLE) exception of places like Substack (for now). As soon as we allow people or companies to make money from ads, the ad buyers are fully in charge of content. This is not the world of free exchange of information that makes for a robust Republic. Is it any wonder why the masses have no idea what is happening to them, or to the world they live in?
Very true ... there’s hope thanks to Substack ...good piece
Thanks for some great perspective. All the more reason to take away Section 230 protections for Google & Facebook. They're both just pure evil.
Another red flag to look for is the lack of links to alternative social sites like Gab, Gettr, or Parker, coupled with links to Twitter and Facebook.

Just subscribed. Was feeling guilty for not supporting. You’re an excellent journalist.
Why isn't one company suing another alleging that they're forcing censorship on other sites.
