I believe we will find our faith tested in these end times and each individual must personally decide to be "in this world but not of this world." As men and women of God, we are each called out and must be true to our faith in the face of increasing godlessness. I applaud this brave young man for speaking truth to power. May God continue to bless him for his stance.

Freedom of religion is under attack and I applaud this brave man!

And freedom from religion is what is mainly under attack. This is a secular, pluralist society and you can participate or isolate yourself. You have freedom to chose your own lifestyle but do not have the right to make such a decision for anyone else. Doing so is fascist and totalitarian. You need to think hard on this.

no argument, freedom of my conscience.

Freedom from religion (namely God's authority) is the goal, i.e., they desire no accountability nor responsibility to God. Freedom of speech and religion are being attacked in order to pursue their goal. Unfortunately, it is in direct conflict with a nation of people that declares itself "One nation, under God.", i.e., the pursuit of this goal attacks the foundation of that society. Government is a tool; God is eternal. Sin makes slaves, but God gives true freedom.

What you describe is people's need to be led by something/someone they see as more powerful than they are. It is the ultimate tool of the totalitarian--follow me or else! In this case you have an invisible authority to fear. Where is the personal responsibility in that! And your concept of god has been used to instigate mass murder and torture for centuries and still is being used that way. Your god concept is used to manipulate and control people and allows the most inhumane behavior and destruction of the environment. Remember slavery was justified by use of the Bible. So were the Crusades and the Inquisition. And now we see the same being used to promote a fascist theocracy in this US--the same thing these white supremacist fascists decry in Muslim theocracies and support in apartheid & genocidal Israel. So if you want to talk about personal responsibility, then begin with yourself as that is where is begins and remains. Ask yourself why you need to have someone telling you what humane behavior should look like.

God's standard is far better than man's arbitrary standard, to include my own. Morality is a higher order than legality, and this comes from a Creator, not from the fallen created entity.

This is why our founders deferred to God's word when legalism was insufficient and established a republic instead of mob rule (democracy of the fallen and unwise). Govt was a tool By the People to allow them to implement a society "under God", not to remove that influence and righteous authority.

Crusades were done out of power and greed, not love, so we should be careful to distinguish God's will from man's fallen/deceived error.

Questions:

Who was it that called for the Crusades? (and the inquisition)

Who altered God's ordained day of worship?

Who dictates that their authority is greater than the Bible's?

What religious order now calls for carbon control?

(hint- same answer)

The days are quickly coming when Christians will have to answer this question. Am I a baseball fan or am I a Christian??? The two will be incompatible.

May God bless him. Speaking out in this manner is not easy. But I am afraid that what he needs to do next will be even more difficult, he needs to refuse to play during ANY "pride" event. Actions speak louder than words.

"You will know them by their fruits", Matthew 7:16.20. "Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven", Matthew 7:21. The bar is very high. Aggressively contend for the faith with vigor. This is the time in which martyrs are made.

I agree, and it won't be easy! But if we stand strong, it will be worth it.

Thank you, Doni. I agree with his complaint

but also ask that he do more than talk. It is

easy for us to say that, because we don't know

the horrific pressure he must be under to cave.

But in the end, as you wrote, actions speak

louder than WORDS. Excellent post!

Thank you, I know it will be hard. We need to pray for him, as well as the others who have spoken up.

It's very reassuring to know that true Christians aren't trembling in fear and instead are standing firm in their faith.

Kudos to this man for speaking out. I imagine he's willing to lose his career, if it came to that.

But at the rate things are going, it won't be long before Christians aren't just losing jobs, but our heads.

Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

So Blake is standing tall on the mound for Jesus. He knows God “bats cleanup.”

Shame on Dodger management for this.

I’d like to say I can’t believe this corporate crap & all the rest but after the past 3 years, nothing is unbelievable anymore. Kudos to this young man & I hope other sports figures (& anyone of faith w/ a public platform) will join his stance because he cannot be alone in his feelings about this. Lots of cowards though.

It will be interesting to see what attendance is on that day & the reaction to the show of those who are there. I hope they get their blasphemous twirking asses handed to them on a silver platter. But these days, no telling.

How I appreciate his strong, strong biblical, Christian commitment! Jesus is more important to him than the athletic team(s) for which he plays. I hope this bolsters my own Christian faith.

It's a start but consider this: "You will be hated by all for my name's sake but he who endures to the end will be saved", Matthew 10:22, also see Matthew 24:13 for Jesus' discourse on the tribulation. The anti-gospel of Satan has been allowed to replace the true Gospel of Christ in our time. This is tribulation. Settle which side you are on now b42late.

Thank you for sharing. The men should have resigned to give their Christian statements added meaning. Pure evil is not welcomed. Condoning satanic evil is a pre-mark of the beast acceptance. Christians should quit jobs, boycott evil blm naacp crt wef homo feminist eco terrorist hate groups and their corporate - government chicom puppet masters.

I think he hit a homerun on the proper response. Resigning would be giving in to bullies. Are you going to give up the job you love because you disagree with a vocal coworker who runs his mouth like a fool? No, you would let him be seen as a fool and have the manager address the problem.

It is way past time to speak out and stand up against this demonic culture. I posit there' is no such thing as 'transgender' or 'trans sexual'. There is a thing correctly identified as transvestite.. It is a manifestation of a serious mental illness medically diagnosed as sexual dysphoria. These children of God who choose to self mutilate need to find help. They need to find Jesus. We need to pray they do. But there can be no more accommodation for this sexual perversion, especially when it is used to indoctrinate children. There is a term that properly identifies adults who attempt sexualize children. That is known as 'pedophile'.

Satan aka Lucifer aka the Prince of Darkness aka the Devil ‘...was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies’, as spoken by Jesus Christ in John 8:44. We were warned by the author of life and truth Himself.

See also: 'Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them', Ephesians 5:11.

Be a bold defender of the faith, a Christian soldier worthy of the name. Now is the time.

Dig deeper folks.

I agree the blasphemy is wrong and despicable, but their involvement with the Folsom Street Fair in S.F. - where they worked the entrance gates and watched parents bringing in young children (a whole other issue) and neither objected or prevented it by warning parents that explicit acts - sex, bdsm and fetish acts - were on full display, means they were happily in on the grooming and perversion, of the children they welcomed in.

We must hold these companies, organization and groups accountable for their willful support or direct grooming and abuse of our children.

A brave soul, it’s so refreshing to see someone speak out and stand up for the truth and what’s right… most are too afraid and will end up following the herd.

I applaud his open and public statement of faith and calling out that hateful group as blasphemous. He didn’t mince words. More need to take a stand. It would be nice if the the baseball stadium is at least half empty to show people will not watch this crap pushed on them.
