It seems from this corner of the peanut gallery that nothing and no one in the DOJ or FBI is worthy of trust or confidence anymore. IF we are able to get a honest, trustworthy AG again, ever, these crooks must be held to real justice. NOT allowing the law hack Garland near the SC was actually an act of true justice. Of course, the latest addition, a woman (possibly) who said she is not qualified (cuz she does not have a degree in biology) to distinguish between man and woman should have been disqualified for lack of self-awareness, lack of sensibility, and psychopathy. It must be subhuman by its own admission.
I believe this hurts the case for prosecution. If the had the goods, they wouldn’t be delaying. They don’t care for conviction just to hang over Trump. This isn’t distracting Him.
The more we learn about Jack Smith, the more incompetent he becomes. This weaponized DOJ will stop at nothing, but ultimately may do themselves in with their brazen attempts to destroy legal rights.

In the case of Biden's DOJ v. Trump, the first draft was, Trump goes to trial after the election. If he wins the election, he could pardon himself. Draft two, get him in and out of court before the election. The appeals process will keep Trump in the news, but with unfavorable press. Security clearances are a bugaboo. Plan 3 calls for the trial before the election, but there will have to be a Goldilocks' date. Not too soon. No too late. Just right.

If these cases were as certain as the government's cases for the J6 insurrectionists, Trump would already be cutting grass on the side of a road in Gitmo.
If Mr. Trump is on our side (his ego betrays him, but I HOPE he actually is) then he might consider castling (chess move) to remove himself from danger and endorse another candidate with more maneuverability. This would be a master move for America; alas, i am unsure if his ego would humbly submit that power to others.
