What you're saying is the can that was being kicked down the road got ran over and smashed .. I look at how the last two and half years have gone and conclude .. it's over.. America is going to wind up like the Titanic at the bottom..the level of treason is off the charts along with the insanity..

Why call it a Debt Ceiling if it is always being raised? Call it the "To Infinity and Beyond Debt."

You can fight this JD, and it starts with covering our Action Radio Constitutional Amendment to take away the power of Congress to borrow money. And YES it can be ratified. But it will take multitudes of journalists covering it, pollsters polling on it, and millions of people sending the link to the bill to the House and Senate. Will you start the process please? We've already written the Amendment.

Here it is: https://writeyourlaws.com/constitutional-amendment-congress-shall-not-have-the-power-to-borrow-money

A stellar piece, Sir.

We are fortunate to still have sources of truth and analytic thinkers such as yourself, but I fear comm's will be the next brick in the wall. The DemonRat's schemes work so much more fluidly with no obnoxious rebuttals or exposes.

Thank you.

Correct. America is being attacked on all fronts and both parties are corrupted. This is a very good time to be paying attention. Time is running out.

America's ever-increasing debt and inflation (impossible under a biblical government) are but more of the 100s of 1000s of consequences of the whirlwind today's America is reaping thanks to the wind sown by the constitutional framers when they replaced the Bible's immutable/unchanging moral laws (including its economic and taxing statutes) with their own capricious man-made traditions (aka the biblically seditious Constitution):

"[B]ecause they have ... trespassed against my law ... they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind...." (Hosea 8:1, 7)

Today's America is reaping the inevitable ever-intensifying whirlwind resulting from the wind sown by the constitutional framers and fanned by today's hoodwinked Christians and patriots who have been bamboozled into believing today's whirlwind can be dissipated by appealing to the wind responsible for spawning the whirlwind.

I think the reason most people don't get too excited about it is because the debt ceiling was a joke anyway. Whenever they hit the "ceiling", they just raised it. Every year they spend more than it allows and then simply raise it at the end of the year to match what was spent. It is like expecting a pool cover to keep the water from rising beyond a certain point. The debt ceiling just floats on top of whatever the spending level happens to be. Sure there is political theater every year when the ceiling has to be raised and all the usual suspects tell us how dire it will be if the government shuts down, but it always gets raised in the end.

If you have a “debt limit” but you keep raising it every time you max it out, you don’t really have a ‘debt limit.”

Your awesome jd I love your articles! I fear Americans are too apathetic, and too dumbed down for a revolution. The controlled collapse could be a good thing if we fought them, but I don't hardly see anyone standing up. Thanks for doing your part

It's important to note that no Western totalitarian regime has lasted indefinitely, as evidenced by the fall of Rome before and during the 20th century.

Total disaster. McCarthy must go. Now.

The debt ceiling was a betrayal, the military has gone woke, our borders are wide open, and our election systems are broken. This is very close to "game over" for America.

We are watching a toxic mix of treason, corruption, and insanity.
