Is Elon Musk a knight in shining armor or a Trojan Horse? The answer may not be fully revealed into months or even years after he complete his purchase of Twitter.
I'm just wondering why people want to go back to Twitter instead of continuing to build out the alternative platforms. They said if you don't like it, build your own... well the alternatives are getting built. I say don't let Musk-itter derail the movement to alternative spaces.
I'm hopefully optimistic....there are several sites i subscribe to, that in order to leave a comment, I have to prove that I am human. There are several squares you locate whatever they ask you to find. As long as there are no mandates, we will find out soon enough.
I take small comfort in the notion that Elon is a transhumanist defensively because he thinks it's the only way to protect humans from the inevitable Artificial General Intelligence that's coming (computer's that are intelligent in the same way humans are) which will quickly lead to Artificial General Super Intelligence which could be an apocalyptic event. He started neurolink defensively against this future, not offensively to bring about a transhumanist ideal. I don't agree with this solution. But it is quite different from most transhumanists.
The way that he tweets, I tend to think he's just naive about the globalist agenda. But it could be a show. It is interesting though that he's probing into the funding behind the latest letter to Twitter's largest advertisers which of course ties back to the globalist elites. Maybe he's becoming less naive? If he was a Trojan horse why would he be probing into that publicly?
What if the ultimate goal is to control public opinion not through censorship but through peer pressure?
What if Musk is taking Twitter private so that federal subsidies to Twitter's bot research can be concealed?
Imagine bots that cannot be distinguished from real people - charismatic bots that seem extremely reasonable and friendly all applying peer pressure to control public opinion - the Asche Conformity Experiment through Twitter.

Very much hopeful, but painfully aware of how things can spiral down quickly. Geez, look at our country under Biden’s horrible administration; each nominee more insane than the previous. So far Twitter seems more acceptable to free thinkers. It’s also refreshing to see leftists fools whining about Elon’s takeover. I’m anxious to see the top officials fired, which will hopefully clear out for better management. Your description of the 4 personality traits was interesting and describes him well. I’ll wait and see if he’s a Trojan Horse and keep my fingers crossed, but will keep all you explained front and center in my view.

There may be a #5 consideration: just as Oppenheimer became militantly anti-bomb after inventing them, perhaps Musk sees the dark side of speech censorship and where such actions lead. His "inside" status offers a view The Normals en masse don't see.
As far as the weird girlfriend goes, many men know the crazy ones can be the most fun, and I get the clear impression Musk has a fun side to him. Crazy girlfriends have gotten men in a whole pickle barrel of trouble.
I hope it all works out. I suspect we'll see shortly...IF the transaction even takes place. I also doubt that 100%.
