There has developed in this country a reluctance to even acknowledge the reality of good and evil. Most can still see instances of what we know as good--various charities helping flood victims stands out at the moment. But many will not even acknowledge the existence of evil. Evil is excused as a "situational necessity." I think this is because many no longer adhere to any faith, especially a faith that recognizes absolutes of right and wrong. The mainstream churches that some still claim have become watered down examples of their former importance. We, as a nation, are getting socialism preached from the pulpits of many of our so-called mainstream churches. Biblical imperatives have been reduced to biblical suggestions, and are just not all that important. We are now accepting of stealing a child's innocence and their god-given gender with hormones and surgery, and few call this abomination evil. So, it is no great surprise that our government would attempt to excuse the sin perpetrated on us by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. The only good that may come from this is that it may contribute to a greater unification of purpose for those opposed to the current pretenders in the White House. The mid-terms are soon upon us, and we must make our voices heard.
