You are absolutely correct. They are destroying America's Food Supply. And they are incredibly inhumane, they just burn the chickens ALIVE. But since they are slaughtering MILLION of people all over the world with no thought at all, and already plotting to do it again,....I guess I shouldn't be surprised. My heart aches for the animals they are so brutally murdering.

Speaking as a small farmer this brings out the down side of big consolidation in the ag sector. When we had many more smaller farms and livestock operations and processing plants all over the country a fire would not take out as much production at one time, in the fifties and sixty's 20 million hens would have been scattered over 10 to 20 thousand farms. all making money and raising families. Thats one hard target to wipe out. The same with dairy pork and beef. Plus most of those farmers tended to shoot. So much for progress

Expand full comment

And CAFOs are the big barracudas that eat the smaller fish. "Progress" today has become regressive. I live in a big city and rarely enjoy small farm-fresh food. The Amish used to set up in my city neighborhood with the best fruits and vegetables ever. But, unfortunately, after a season of Chinese buyers buying up their entire stock, they're no longer around. I'm guessing the Amish now sell their products directly to them. Then some cattle farm workers came and set up stands of all kinds of beef and chicken. But, again unfortunately, the democratic bureaucrats did something to make them go away. No meat for the masses, you see. Sure miss farmers like you.

We are/were small farmers who went to farmers markets in the city. Did it for 12 years. Between market managers who embrace every ounce of wokeness and try to apply it to farmer’s businesses and the covid games we quit participating in markets in 2020. We’re in our 60’s so it was pretty easy to “retire”. I write periodically about these ideas. One third of America’s 3.4 million farmers are over the age of sixty five, and nearly a million more of them are within a decade of that milestone, according to USDA. All that will eventually be left are the big corporate operations. I agree with J.D.’s quote: "Who controls the food supply, controls the people." - Henry Kissinger

I’ve used it plenty of times.

This is true, I'm 64. However my 24 year old son is in the process of taking over the operation. Organics has made this possible. But even then you have to do your homework. I sell to Organic Valley Coop, we are a cooperative approximately 2000 of family dairy farms. Yes we have a few that milk 100 or so cows however our membership is almost half Amish who milk 20 to 40 cows, My son and I milk 60 and we do HAVE to graze in season and that restricts size somewhat. Our major competitors source from mega dairies that barely or do not meet requirements. If there is profit to be made there are many young men and some women that desperately want to farm. Our meat division Organic Prairie is the same. We produce good food not cheap food.

Expand full comment

We produced small fruits, berries, melons, orchard fruit, honey, herbs and sold wild mushrooms. We were biodynamic. Good food not cheap food too! Everything we produced we sold at farmer’s market prices. Paid the bills for many years. We’d still be doing it if covid hadn’t come along. In Ohio, where our farm is, dairy farmer’s aren’t allowed to sell directly to consumers, they have to buy a herd “share”. Always seemed like a clunky way to do business. They sold the shares at market and the consumer picked up at the farm. The Amish near us do the same thing or they accept a “donation”. Our urban customers didn’t know what to do with their herd shares and had to be taught. That fell to the farmers, who didn’t mind, but time is money. Many of the dairy farms near us have ceased to exist.

Thanks to you, I can now find many of them at gatewaypundit. AND I can check their articles to see if they posted an update since then. I'm so grateful, thanks again. PS: I make lists. Thanks for the info. The fire was "suspicious" but there's no info that 1500 tons of wheat hay was burned. The list I posted was only a small partial list. There are 99 fires in my first list, that destroyed farms and food pantries. And my list goes only to June 2022. I'm sure there have been a couple hundred more since then.

Have to admit, however, that I haven't been to a library in years. Too many issues every day now on the internet involving the corruption of Biden's administration and massive inroads the NWO has made in our country, and around the world. I spend 6 or more hours a day, with breaks every 2 hours to rest my eyes from the 5G my internet provider uses on and off. There's a backlog in a massive amount you wouldn't believe. If I could afford a staff, I'd surely have them. Praying for Trump 2024 - sure can use the peace. We all can.

Great question, Kel! I haven't made a list, but have several articles about Obama's administration relative to this topic. When Obama started "stealing" private farms with help from the heavily armed and paranoid FBI, ATF, and Rockefeller-owned local Sheriffs, there were fires in barns, massive disease outbreaks, and the administration's relentless persecution of farmers and ranchers by citing them for violations they couldn't prove even existed. He even used Congress to come up with some law, misinterpret it, and apply it to Obama's scheme.. In some, but not all cases, his federal Court judges would rule in favor of the government's claims, which sometimes were overturned by the Appeals courts. Unfortunately, by his second term, Obama owned most of the Appeals court judge. You might remember all the scandals surrounding the 9th Cir. Court of Appeals, which fortunately,, President Trump replaced. The CAFOS, on the other hand, actually received taxpayer money to raise sick cows in deplorable conditions and filled with toxic antibiotics and other chemicals, and sell the milk and beef to US consumers. PS: One caveat - the vaccines were already being developed, and the viruses were produced in labs in the 1990's. The timeline of this story merely shows the stealth planning they used to get us ready for Covid, about which Obama said, before Trump was elected: "Trump will have a pandemic during his administration."

The food supply is mostly vulnerable because we have allowed bureaucrats and corporate boards to create a system that is large scale, inefficient, and anti competitive. We it not for that a few oligarchs cashing out through dubious insurance claims also intended to raise prices, the supply would be far more resilient. Allowing the market to function normally favors many smaller producers competing locally to produce affordable, fresher, higher quality food that also keeps more money in local economies.
