With more court decisions going against restrictions, and with a good number of the independents also being aware of the studies showing that the restrictions did nothing to stop Corona and only did serious damage, I'm not sure the left wing tyrants can get away more severe restrictions or that it will benefit them in the election if they do. In late 2020 prior to the election I think there were still a fair number of Republicans living in irrational fear.
