Thomas Pain wrote a pamphlet titled 'COMMON SENSE.' The effect of his writings spelled out the end results of America being born as a country before the first shot was ever fired. How is that you might ask? The hearts and the minds of good people were won because good people got sick and tired of all the evil and corruption while merely wanting to be left alone, look out because common sense will have awakened, when push comes to shove.

“Posterity! you will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your freedom! I hope you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in Heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it." These are the words John Quincy Adams wrote to his wife three days after the greatest power since the Roman Empire was defeated on that one day of April 19th, 1775. Born from this struggle with the use of the cartridge box America earned the ballot box and the right to vote so such a struggle should not be repeated.

Following that great struggle for independence and freedom the deliberations of the Constitutional Convention of 1787 were held in strict secrecy. Anxious citizens gathered outside Independence Hall when the proceedings were held. When it ended , in order to learn what had been produced behind those closed doors, the answer was provided immediately.

A Mrs. Powel of Philadelphia asked Benjamin Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, “A republic, if you can keep it.”

One famous Roman Marcus Tullius Cicero said these wise words

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself."

Be prepared for another lock-down just about the time the elections are getting close. Then the demorats will scream mail-in ballots to stop the imaginary spread. Then the massive cheating begins again. Sound familiar??

I'm 58 years old and have had a wonderful life. I have an amazing husband and wonderful friends. I am living my life to the fullest and spending time with everyone I love and enjoy and they are all doing the same. If I die tomorrow, I know I will be with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I just keep praying like David:

The Lord is my light and my salvation—

whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the stronghold of my life—

of whom shall I be afraid?

2 When the wicked advance against me

to devour me,

it is my enemies and my foes

who will stumble and fall.

3 Though an army besiege me,

my heart will not fear;

though war break out against me,

even then I will be confident.

Psalm 27
