Texas has been not just abandoned, but actively undermined in their actions to curb (at the least) or stop (better alternative) and even send back (best choice) undocumented people crossing our border. We have seen illegals commit horrendous crimes like rapes, robberies, and pedophile assaults against our fellow Americans, and the Federal Government has done nothing except to abrogate their defined responsibilities. Texas is in a unique position as our first line of defense. America should be cheering them on. Our government should be assisting them in their efforts, for if they fail, America fails. Texas is also unique in that they are a republic and an act by their state legislature could dissolve the union between Texas and the US government making Texas a free republic once again. Should this happen? I certainly hope it doesn't get to that point. But it is inching ever closer and if it should happen that Texas reclaims its status as a free republic, I think we could quickly see a plethora of other states joining that republic as the Free United States of America. Unfortunately, a dissolution of the Union may be the only way to save at least a portion of these United States.

They’ve had ample opportunities. We’re faced with a uni-party, the same one that has ignored border protection for decades.

I agree 100& with Gov Abbott's argument, Joe Biden is clearly impeachable for dereliction of duty, violation of Oath of Office. He and his nursing staff are doing this obscenely right in our faces. The majority of the Republicans in the House are also traitors since they declined to impeach the pos. Worse, they attacked the 8-Reps who tried to stand up for the Constitution. The Democrat Party and the rinos (all are rinos except the eight) do not know the harm they do to us. The uniparty is on a road to national suicide. America at this moment is weak militarily, morally, with half the citizens little more than zombies.
